Get Moving

Describe the benefits of physical activity, developing an exercise plan, overcoming barriers, and staying motivated.

In this workshop, participants will:

  •       Learn about the benefits of physical activity.
  •       Discuss what “counts” as movement.
  •       Brainstorm the barriers to being active and how to overcome them.
  •       Participate in a 5 to 7-minute low to moderate intensity movement activity.
  •       Create an action plant to stay motivated.
