Presenter: Denise Woo, MD Chief of Dermatology, Redwood City

Dr. Denise Woo was born and raised in the multicultural city of Hong Kong. After graduating from Stanford University, Dr. Woo completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. During her medical training, Dr. Woo conducted dermatological research on a diverse community of patients, involving both common diseases such as allergic contact dermatitis, and rarer ones such as skin lymphomas. Dr. Woo has a keen clinical interest in multicultural dermatology, and how disease impacts ethnic skin. After completing residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan, she moved back to sunny California and joined Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Woo currently serves as the Chief of Dermatology at Kaiser Permanente Redwood City.
