Achieve health and wellbeing in a new way… the Lifestyle Medicine way!
 

This program can help you to adopt healthy behaviors that can prevent, treat, and even reverse chronic diseases. Lifestyle Medicine (LM) uses evidence based practices to treat the root causes of disease by focusing on six pillars of health. 

The six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine include:
1. Healthful Eating
2. Regular Physical Activity
3. Restorative Sleep
4. Stress Management
5. Positive Social Connection
6. Avoidance of Risky Substances
 

Participants in Lifestyle Medicine programs have shown significant results including reduced cholesterol, decreased body mass index and body fat, increased plant-based food consumption and experienced increased confidence to maintain healthy lifestyle habits for the long run.
 

Program Specifics:

  • Duration: 7-week cohort
  • Week 1: Overview & Finding Your Purpose
  • Weeks 2-7: Cover each of the 6 core topics of Lifestyle Medicine – 1) nutrition, 2) physical activity, 3) stress, 4) sleep, 5) social connections, 6) avoidance of risk substances
  • Each week will consist of one group workshop and one individual health coaching
  • Maximum number of participants: 20
  • Delivery: virtual sessions
  • Individual coaching once a week virtually

You do not need to be a Kaiser Permanente member to participate.
