Lung Cancer Screening in Asian Americans
Dr. Emily Nguyen is facilitating a conversation between Dr. Jeffrey Velotta, Dr. Peter Le and our AAPI community. In our discussion we aim to provide education about lung cancer screening and awareness in our Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Community. In this HouseCalls we will discuss prevention, early detection, and treatment of lung cancer.
This is a FREE, virtual interactive event open to the community. We have invited our AAPI members and their families to listen and participate in the conversation.
Participants can join the discussion either in person or on a Zoom call:
- In-person location will be at the Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center. Details will be shared in the confirmation email. All enrolled participants will have an opportunity to meet the physicians ask questions, enjoy food and participate in a raffle.
- Zoom participants will enjoy the discussion from their phone or computer.
