Open Enrollment (OE): Important Dates

Open Enrollment for your health benefits for Plan Year 2027 starts at 8:00 a.m. PST on October 1 and ends at 5:00 p.m. PST on October 23, 2026. You can enroll online through SF My Hub and upload all required documents directly during enrollment. If you plan to mail your enrollment application, please go into the Post Office to request they stamp the post mark date in your presence as your application must be postmarked by October 23, 2026 along with any required documents to be accepted. An October 23, 2026 postmark is not guaranteed if you drop your letter in a mailbox, because the Postal Service now applies postmarks only after mail arrives at regional processing facilities.

After you receive your Health Benefits Enrollment Confirmation Statement, review it to ensure there are no administrative errors. Only administrative errors can be corrected, and all corrections must be submitted by December 31, 2026. Changes made during Open Enrollment will take effect on January 1, 2027.
