Mental Health Awareness Campaign
In support of the SFHSS Mental Health Awareness (MHA) campaign this May, join us for this Key Player Training to learn about the upcoming Together in Well-Being— Mind, Heart, Body, Spirit Campaign and how you can help promote it within your department. The campaign invites employees to participate in simple weekly activities, explore practical strategies, and build sustainable habits for well-being.

Training Objectives
- Review the 2026 Mental Health Awareness Campaign details.
- Explore the four pillars of mental health:
- Reflect and Do
- Talk and Feel
- Move and Be
- Choose Your Own Adventure
- Discuss strategies to promote weekly activities that encourage small, meaningful well-being actions.
- Learn about the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offerings available during the May challenge and year-round.

- Send a department-wide email the week of April 27 to promote campaign details and the Together in Well-Being weekly challenge
- Consider hosting your own department-led MHAM campaign events and activities
- Share and promote the upcoming May citywide activities
- We encourage you to register and attend some of the city-wide activities
- Reminder: if you would like to request SFHSS activities, please allow for an 8-week lead time
- Submit spotlights highlighting your department's MHAM efforts

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Introduction
MHFA at Work Intro is a 2-hour online self-paced course that teaches you how to support mental health in the workplace, reduce stigma, and build resilience. You’ll learn how to recognize non-crisis challenges in coworkers and take steps to foster a culture of well-being.

Mental Health First Aid Certification 2.0
This 4-hour virtual session requires you to first complete a 2-hour self-paced MHFA Intro course. Space is limited—if you can’t commit, please don’t sign up. Complete the interest form to be added to the list.
