San Francisco Health Service System Member Rules

SFHSS Member Rules and Cafeteria Plan

The San Francisco Health Service System Board has approved the following revised rules, which govern member and dependent benefits.

The Rules cover a wide range of topics including member and dependent eligibility, coverage periods, requirements for continuing SFHSS administered health coverage in retirement, and the process for member appeals and grievances.

All SFHSS members should familiarize themselves with these Rules.
