Well-Being@Work

City Departments are encouraged to prioritize well-being and support healthy behaviors in the workplace. Additionally, they are called upon to demonstrate their organizations' commitment to well-being by:

  • identifying well-being Key Players (Department Leads and Champions) and
  • establishing a well-being strategy tailored to your department's workforce. 

The San Francisco Health Service System (SFHSS) support departments Well-Being@Work efforts and provide Key Players with resources to create a culture of well-being for all employees. Learn more about the resources available in each of the three areas.


 

How to Get Started with Well-Being@Work:

Step 1

Identify Key Players- Reach out to Well-Being@sfgov.org if you do not have a Department Lead or Champion for your department location. We will provide assistance with recruitment by contacting your department's leadership.

Step 2

Develop a Well-Being@Work Department Annual Plan- Gather your key players together and schedule a meeting with SFHSS to develop your department's strategy to positively impact well-being at your workplace.

Step 3

Engage Employees with Well-Being- Bring well-being to the workplace through a variety of activities and programs offered by SFHSS.
