Executive Director's April Message

Executive Director Writing Message

Spring is officially here and our City is open for business. As employees of the City and County of San Francisco, you are one of the key reasons our City is able to open safely. Thank you for getting vaccinated and supporting our residents throughout the pandemic, so that our City can recover faster and more vibrant than ever.

It's my hope we can all enjoy City life as we did before. I know rising costs due to inflation, concern about war and news of an Omicron variant BA.2 can be a lot to process. These stressors may prevent you from being present with your friends and family as you go out to enjoy your life.

If you or someone you love has been impacted by the invasion of Ukraine, please know our City stands with you. We have many resources and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a great place to start.

April is Alcohol Awareness Month and we have no shortage or worries and concerns that may cause someone to turn to addiction, so if you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, please reach out for help and support.

We are all in this together. Please continue to support each other and be kind.

Be well,

Abbie Yant
