November Message

hand writing

I have so much to be thankful for this month. It’s been a joy to see everyone’s faces in the office again. I’m glad I no longer have to share my working space with my husband. I’m looking forward to visiting all of my favorite lunch spots and the best Farmer’s Market in the City. As much as I enjoyed making sour dough bread during shelter-in-place, I’m grateful to have less “knead” to bake.

SFHSS just wrapped up Open Enrollment last month, and our team is working hard to ensure your elections for next year are accurately captured. Look for your confirmation letters in the mail in early December.

We also have a few more Flu Clinics this month. If you haven’t already gotten your flu shot, please sign-up for one of the SFHSS Well-Being on-site Flu Clinics or you can go to your doctor’s office or a local pharmacy to get a flu shot at your convenience.

So much planning and preparations goes into orchestrating Open Enrollment and all the on-site Flu Clinics. I am so grateful to my staff for the symphony of their hard work. Many things are out of our control, but November is a time to appreciate all the good things in our life, both big and small. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Be well,
Abbie
