A Request for Proposal (RFP) is a competitive bid for services. An RFP is a formal process with strict rules about communications.
All conversations about an RFP must be made by email to the SFHSS Contracts Team: michael.visconti@sfgov.org, cc: patrick.chang@sfgov.org, william.kudenov@sfgov.org.
This is called an RFP black-out period. Bidders may be disqualified for failing to obey the RFP black-out.
- Writing or speaking to other employees about the RFP is not allowed.
- Writing or speaking to SFHSS managers about the RFP is not allowed.
- Writing or speaking to the Health Service Board about the RFP is not allowed.
- Writing or speaking to SFHSS consultants about the RFP is not allowed.
- Writing or speaking to the RFP panel about the RFP is not allowed.
